This is an excellent RAILROAD WATCH by BALL WATCH Co. of CLEVELAND, OHIO. It has the 16 Size, WALTHAM BALL Calibre Movement, which has 19 Jewels with 5 Adjustments and Sapphire Pallets. It has the OFFICIAL RAILROAD STANDARD Trade Mark inscribed on the plate and is Stem wound, Lever set and bears SNB262569, which dates to 1921c.
It has the rare 24 Hour BOX CAR, style Dial which is signed Ball Watch Co., Cleveland and is in very good condition with just a few light hairlines,as shown in the pics.
The Case is 10K Gold Filled by Keystone Watch Case Co - their J. Boss quality and it has a Superb Vintage Train etching on the back
The Watch is in excellent working condition and is keeping almost perfect time (within 1 minute per day) - Ref. CF6.11.
