General Description: This is a very fine, late 19th Century, 8 Day - VERY MINIATURE FRENCH CARRIAGE CLOCK, with movement s/n 20 and Makers Mark B encircled ( Identified by Karl Kochmann, but no details provided).It also has the A.B Depose (Achille Brocot patent) on the back plate It is in a superb Corniche Style Brass Case with Canted Corners. It is much smaller than the usual miniature, being only 3 & 1/8" (81mm) tall with the handle extended. The jewelled platform escapement, has a bi-metallic compensation balance and a Swiss type club-foot escapement with fish tailed lever. It is in very good working condition and keeping good time. The case is in excellent condition and has no dings or dents.. It is keywound and Keyset at the back and dates to the 1880's circa. (ref.
