The case is stamped with the Lion Passant Standard Mark and has a CHESTER Assay Mark for 1897, with serial number 562 (The last 3 digits of the Movement S/N). The case maker is J.S.W. (Joseph Samuel Wilday of COVENTRY).It has an 11 Jewel (Screwed-in Jewelling), Full Plate Fusee- Lever Movement, with s/n 30562, Ruby end-Stone, Gold balance Wheel, Polished Steel Boseley Regulator and is Key Wound and Set. The movement is in excellent cosmetic and working condition and is running very well. (ref.
