FRODSHAM and which dates to the period after which Charles Frodsham purchased the business of Sir John Roger Arnold, who had been apprenticed to his famous father-JOHN ARNOLD and the even more famous Swiss/French Horologist, ABRAHAM LOUIS BREGUET. The movement is extremely rare, in that it can be wound using a key from the back or via the crown using the stem wind option. It can also be set using the pin-set on the rim or by using a key at the back.It is fully signed with serial number 9479, dating to 1858c and the ADFMSZ signature, reserved for the very highest quality of Frodsham's production.The movement is in excellent condition, is running very well and keeping good time.
