ROLEX OYSTERDATE 17J PRECISION : Like New - 1966c

This is a SUPERB ROLEX OYSTERDATE has BEEN SOLD.

General Description:

This is a superb ROLEX OYSTERDATE, 17 Jewel GENTS Manual Wind WW, together with a signed ROLEX leather strap. It has a Rare YELLOW DATE Window at 3.00 and is in almost new condition - it dates to 1966c.

It has a Glass Crystal which is in very good condition (a few light marks) and a beautiful (as new) Champagne/Light Yellow Coloured Dial wher you will note the very RARE YELLOW DATE Window background. It has pointer hands with Tritium illuminated markers and an 18mm Rolex signed Black Leather strap which has a Rolex buckle and overall dimensions of 230mm.

The movement is the Rolex Calibre 1225 which is in superb cosmetic and running condition and kept almost perfect time in a 48 hour test. The case is the reference 6694 which is fully signed as in the pics and has the date letter I.66 (first quarter 1966) on the inside back. It is signed "Registered Design 6694" between the lugs at 12.00 and Serial Number 944977 between the lugs at 6.00. A new rubber gasket has just been fitted to the case back from which the original protective cover has never been removed. - (ref. L505)
