General Description:
This is a Superb SMITHS ASTRAL - Gents 17J Manual Wind WristWatch, which is signed Made in England and dates to the 1960's.
The movement is the SMITHS high quality English Made Cal. 36 with gilt plates and reference number 60604E. It has an Acrylic Crystal and a Silver coloured Metal Dial, which is in good overall condition, but has some dis-colouration near the edge in parts and is signed as above - see pics. The Case has a Stainless Steel back and a Chrome Coated metal top.
It has a 17mm Black Leather strap, which is in good condition and measures 225mm overall.
This very stylish watch is a popular and collectible model in the Vintage SMITHS range and would make an ideal addition to your collection or for daily use. It comes from the stock of a collector -ref: BF38.16
